Growth Groups at St. Peter's

Growth Groups meet once a month, and the format differs from group to group and meeting to meeting, but the aim of these groups is to extend our common worship on Sundays into the weekdays that follow. You are welcome to join any of these groups at any time. You will find a warm welcome and a great group of people--serious about their faith and our life together.

The 20s/30s Group

The 20s/30s Group meets on the last Wednesday evening of each month at Wilde's Bar and Restaurant in Lakeview (7:00 - 9:00 pm). We're currently reading through C. S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters. Anyone is welcome to join at any time of the year. The 20s/30s Group also hosts coffee hour once every other month, and enjoys occasional brunches together, too. If you'd like to join or have any questions, contact Becca Wicker.

The 40s/50s Group

The 40s/50s Group is starting back up after a long hiatus. In February the group is meeting to discuss an essay by C. S. Lewis, and to think about what we'd like to do in the year ahead. Typical meetings occur on Tuesday evenings, once a month. Contact Qiana Johnson if you'd like to join up, or if you want more information.

The 60s+ Group has met consistently since its inception! They've never missed a month. The group meets on a Thursday afternoon of each month, usually in the home of one of its members. Currently, the 60s+ group is reading Tish Harrison Warren's Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life. Contact Nancy Fifield for more information or if you'd like to join in!
